What to expect on a Sea Magic Cruise ...

Get ready for a fun vacation and dance experience!
Start planning now for a fun-filled vacation of cruising & dancing with friends as the Sea Magic Dance Cruises are a Total Dance Vacation Experience. Your group cruise price includes the standard cruise amenities of onboard gourmet meals, outstanding service, a wide variety of entertainment & activities "plus" dance classes, group parties and social dancing for our group only - must be booked with our group (Sea Magic via Paradise Travel Service) to participate. (class & dance schedule to follow) The emphasis of our group is on enjoying a relaxed and fun vacation while also dancing, and being with friends!

Our Sea Magic cruise format is very "relaxed" where the days are yours to go ashore and explore the ports of call or simply remain onboard and enjoy the ship. Our on board classes will be presented as the ship schedule and space allows. The actual dances taught will be decided by those that are sailing on this voyage via the "Dance Survey" that is distributed prior to sailing (dances in the past have been west coast swing, night club two step, latin & ballroom). We will have special gatherings, parties, and dances for “our group only” in addition to the general pre-dinner and after-dinner dancing available in the lounges. Our actual group schedule is finalized by the ship closer to sailing. Schedule is subject to change.

Our group generally chooses the evening dining option of Traditional-2nd seating @ 8:30pm. Dining options are on a first come, first booked basis so register early to get your preference. Most ships also have alternative dining options and room service available.

There are many activity and entertainment choices available onboard the ship. You can dance to one of the live bands, see a variety of shows, relax in a lounge, stroll on the deck, see a movie, read a book or enjoy the many other options the ship has to offer. This cruise is not just for dancers -- so, go ahead and bring your family and friends along as there is something for everyone on a cruise!

Boarding the Ship
You may board the ship after 1pm on embarkation day.
Disembarkation typically takes place between 7am-9:30am
Typically return home flights should not be booked prior to 12 noon.

Air Arrangements
You can make your own air arrangements or purchase round trip airfare along with your cruise from the Cruise Line.
1. Your Own Air
If you are making airline reservations on your own, give yourself plenty of time to get to and from the ship. If you are travelling from a different time zone, you may want to arrive a day or so early to allow for any unexpected travel delays and travel fatigue.

You should not book your return flights prior to 12 noon.

Domestic flights typically require at least a 1-hour airport check-in time prior to your departing flight.
International flights typically require at least a 2-hour airport checkin time prior to your departing flight.

Plan your time carefully and please don't miss the boat!

2. Cruise Line Booked Air
You can purchase round-trip airfare along with your cruise from the Cruise Line. Travel dates, times and air carrier are selected by the Cruise Line. Additional fees may be assesed for customized air reservations.

PRE/POST CRUISE TOURS & HOTEL
Arriving to the cruise departure city a day or so early is recommended to ensure being on time to board the ship and being settled from any time zone changes that might be present. Arriving early would also require booking a pre-cruise hotel stay. The same would be true for post-cruise tour and hotel.

Travel Insurance
Travel Care covers a variety of items. This insurance can be purchased anytime from the time of your deposit until final payment. Coverage begins only upon payment and some exclusions apply. I highly recommend this option.

Cruise Vacation Protection Plan
We strongly recommend the purchase of a vacation protection program. For your convenience, the cruise lines offers a Vacation Protection plan. These plans provide what is perhaps the most attractive combination of protection and flexibility available in cruising today covering a variety of items.

Vacation Protection includes Trip Cancellation and Interruption Protection, which provides up to full reimbursement for the otherwise non-refundable cancellation fees if you must cancel or curtail your trip due to eligible medical conditions or other specified causes affecting you, your immediate family members or your traveling companions.

For those passengers who have purchased CruiseVacation Protection, please refer to the Plan Description that is enclosed in your pre-cruise package for more information or contact the cruise line directly.

Special note: Cruise Vacation Protection must be purchased before or at time of final payment.
