Start planning now for a fun-filled vacation of cruising & dancing with friends as the Sea Magic
Dance Cruises are a Total Dance Vacation Experience. Your group cruise
price includes the standard cruise amenities of onboard gourmet meals,
outstanding service, a wide variety of entertainment & activities
"PLUS" dance classes, group parties and social dancing for our group only
- must be booked with our group (Sea Magic via Paradise Travel Service) to
participate. (class & dance schedule to follow) The emphasis
of our group is on enjoying a relaxed and fun vacation with friends and
family with dancing as a bonus!
Our Sea Magic cruise format is very "relaxed" where the days are yours to go ashore and explore the ports of
call or simply remain onboard and enjoy the ship. This cruise is not just for dancers - we welcome and encourage
friends and family to join our fun group as we dine together, gather for group parties and experience a wonderful cruise
vacation. Our group focus is to experience the cruise and our fabulous destinations with dancing as a bonus! Our on board classes, taught by Michelle Kinkaid, will be presented as the ship schedule and space
allows ... typically on the days at sea. The actual dances taught will be decided by those that are sailing
on this voyage via the "Dance Survey" that is distributed prior to sailing
(dances with the most votes in the past have been west coast swing and night club two step with country two step, salsa, cha cha, waltz, rumba and others also rating). We will have special gatherings, parties, and dances for
“our group only” in addition to the general pre-dinner and after-dinner
dancing available in the open ship lounges. Remember, It is your vacation and it is your choice to do as much or as little as you wish!
Our actual group schedule is finalized by the ship just prior to sailing and the schedule is subject to change.
Our group evening dining is typically the Traditional-2nd seating @ approx 8pm due to the late port departure times and our dance schedule.
Dining options are on a first come, first booked basis so register early
to get your preference. You may also choose other dining options outside the group such as: Traditional 1st
Seating (space permitting), the Anytime Dining Room (walk in basis from 5:30-9:30pm, this option may have a
waiting list just like in a restaurant), casual dining in the Horizon Court Buffet, Poolside Grill, Poolside Princess
Pizzaria and 24-hr room service.
There are also two "Specialty" Restaurants available: The Steakhouse/Crown Grille and
Sabatini's which charge an additional fee and require reservations.
There are many activity and entertainment choices available
onboard the ship. You can dance to the live bands in the lounges, see a variety of
shows, relax in a lounge, stroll on the deck, see a movie, read a book or
enjoy the many other options the ship has to offer. Reminder: This cruise is not
just for dancers -- so, go ahead and bring your family and friends
along as there is something for everyone on a cruise!

BOARDING/DISEMBARKING THE SHIP
You may typically board the ship after 1pm on embarkation day.
Disembarkation typically takes place between 7am-9:30am
Return home flights can be booked after 11am from the San Francisco Int'l Airport (SFO).
Always consult the Cruise Line and verify cruise time details before booking any flights.
AIR ARRANGEMENTS
You can make your own air
arrangements or purchase round trip airfare along with your cruise from
the Cruise Line.
Cruise Departure City: San Francisco, CA (SFO)
Cruise Ending City: San Francisco, CA (SFO)
1. Your Own Air
If you are making airline reservations on your own, give yourself plenty of time to get to and from the ship.
I NEVER recommend booking your air fights on the same day as the ship sails as it is too risky. Travel
delays and flight cancellations are always a possibility and have happened to some of our group members in the past.
**If you are traveling from a different time zone or traveling great distance, you will definitely want to arrive a
day or so early to allow for any unexpected travel delays and travel fatigue. You will want to be fresh so that you
can fully enjoy your cruise vacation.
Return flights from San Francisco, CA (SFO) can be booked AFTER 11am.
Ships generally disembark in the morning however it takes several hours to complete
the process, go through customs and travel to the airport.
Domestic flights typically require at least a 1-hour airport check-in time prior to your
departing flight.
International flights typically require at least a 2-hour airport check-in time prior to your departing flight.
Plan your time carefully and please don't miss the boat!
2. Cruise Line Booked Air**
You can purchase round-trip airfare along with your cruise from the Cruise Line. Travel
dates, times and air carrier are selected by the Cruise Line. An additional customization
fee will be assesed for customized air reservations as well as any differences in flight price.
**Please be aware that there are some restrictions as well as some benefits on Cruise Booked Air.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION (to/from San Francisco, CA (SFO))
Motor coach ground transportation is available from Princess. Princess buses only operate on the days the ship sails therefore, these transfers are only available on the day of departure (Tuesday, April 3rd) or return (Friday, April 13th) within specific hours. Please verify that your flight time is within the Princess Bus operating hours. Princess Ground Transportation Cost: $48/pp round trip. Round trip transfers include: San Francisco, CA (SFO) to ship terminal ($24), and ship terminal to San Francisco, CA (SFO) ($24). You may also purchase an individual segment as priced. You must provide Princess or your Travel Agent (Michelle) with your flight information before Transfers may be added to your booking. Buses begin departing from the Airport at approximately 10am on Embarkation Day.
If you are arranging your own airline reservations, you can still purchase the ground transfers from Princess as long as you are traveling to and from the San Francisco Airport (SFO) on the cruise departure & return dates and within their bus schedule hours.
If you are arriving or departing the Airport on other dates, separate ground transportation arrangements will be needed such as taxi, train or bus.
The San Francisco, CA (SFO) Airport is approximately 9 miles from the city center and downtown hotels. The Cruise Terminal is near the Fisherman's Wharf/Marina area.
PRE/POST CRUISE TOURS & HOTEL
Arriving to the cruise departure city a day or so early is recommended to ensure being on time to board the ship and
being settled from any time zone changes that might be present. Arriving early would also require booking a pre-cruise hotel stay.
The same would be true for post-cruise tour and hotels.
Pre-Cruise Hotel --
1. Pre-Cruise Group Hotel for nights of April 2nd (Monday) and/or April 13 (Friday)
Please contact Michelle if you wish to stay with our Sea Magic Group at our designated hotel (space is limited).
-Wharf Inn (@ Fisherman's Wharf) ... AAA Rate of $139 + tax.
-Grant Plaza Hotel (Union Squar/China Town) ... Internet Rate
2. Princess Cruises Pre/Post-Cruise Hotel Packages -- --

and transfers from the hotel to the ship on day of embarkation. All pricing is per person/double occupancy (2 people in a room) + tax and are subject to availability.
Mark Hopkins Hotel (Nob Hill Area)
$209 per person, double occupancy/per night
$299 per person, single occupancy/per night
TRAVEL INSURANCE ... I highly recommend having this or some form of travel insurance.
1. PRINCESS Vacation Protection Insurance
Click Here for Complete Coverage Details
This plan covers a variety of items on your cruise. This insurance can be purchased
anytime from the time of your deposit until final payment. Coverage begins only upon
payment and some exclusions apply.
We strongly recommend the purchase of a vacation protection
program. For your convenience, the cruise lines offers a Vacation
Protection plan. These plans provide what is perhaps the most attractive
combination of protection and flexibility available in cruising today
covering a variety of items.
Vacation Protection includes Trip
Cancellation and Interruption Protection, which provides up to full
reimbursement for the otherwise non-refundable cancellation fees if you
must cancel or curtail your trip due to eligible medical conditions or
other specified causes affecting you, your immediate family members or
your traveling companions.

TIPS & GRATUITIES: (on board the ship)
For your convenience, Most cruise lines automatically add
gratuities for your restaurant and stateroom services to your onboard
account on a daily basis in the following amounts, which may be
adjusted at your discretion: $11.50 per person, per day ($12 pp/pd for Suites).
These service gratuities are the recommended amounts and may be adjusted
at your discretion onboard at the Purser's Desk. Envelopes are also typically
available for you to personally deliver the gratuities to dining and
stateroom personnel should you prefer that method. (subject to change)
CLOTHING/DRESS CODE Descriptions
You should dress for cruising the same way you would for a land based resort. Daywear suggestions include casual sportswear,
jogging suits, pants, sweaters, windbreaker/jacket both on board and ashore.
Keep in mind that the weather at sea can be unpredictable. You may want to bring a hat, jacket and sweater
as well as swim suit, shorts, visor and sunglasses.
Evening - The Cruise Line dress code categories refer to the classification of attire
requested for that particular evening.
The ship asks that all passengers follow the suggested attire while in the public areas.
1. Casual - pant, slacks, skirts, blouses, sweaters for women; pants, sport shirts/open neck
shirts and sweaters for men
2. Formal - cocktail dresses, evening gowns, or dressy pant suit for women; sport jacket
& slacks, suit or tuxedo for men
Daytime - During the day there is no specified dress code, however there
are some attire restrictions.
Swim suits, cut off T-shirts, halter tops, and torn jeans are not permitted in the main dining rooms.
While swim suits are appropriate attire for the pool and spa areas, coverups are
requested for other areas of the ship.
